Industry-Based Certification
Industry-based certification opportunites are available to students through traditional courses offered through the College of Technology. The Department of Applied Computing and Electronics is a member of the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), Microsoft Developers Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA), and a Cisco Regional Networking Academy. Courses mapping for I.T. Certification Programs are available. All Computer Technology and Computer System Support students complete either CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA certification.
The University of Montana is a Pearson-Vue Academic Testing Center. The testing center is located in Liberal Arts Building, Room 102. Certification exams at The University of Montana may be scheduled online.
